Southwest Garden is served by the SLMPD South Patrol Division. East of Kingshighway, the Gardenside Special Business District also funds extra off-duty police patrols through a voluntary property assessment.

The #9 PM Routine

A national habit that prevents most break-ins. Each night at 9:00 PM:

  • Remove valuables and firearms from your vehicle

  • Lock vehicle doors and the garage

  • Close and lock windows and exterior doors

  • Turn on exterior lights
